COVID-19 Update 03/19/2020
Church Family,
We want everyone to know exactly what is going on and the decisions we’ve reached, in regards to our meeting together. Keep in mind that we will continue to monitor and adjust these decisions as necessary.
We are asking everyone to comply with the CDC’s recommendations for group gatherings and quarantine. The current recommendation is to avoid group gatherings of more than 10 people and to self-isolate or self-quarantine after traveling. Your Elders are in close communication and will constantly review these decisions to see if they are serving the needs of our church family. Please check this website, watch your email, or check social media for updates as this situation continues to evolve.
We will be streaming a live service Sunday morning at 10AM this Sunday (March 22). We are using a minimal number of individuals to put this together.
Many of you have asked about giving. Since we will not be meeting physically together, we are setting up options for online giving. Click here to see the giving options we have available to facilitate this.
We hope you will join the congregation online in partaking communion. If your family would like to make your own communion bread to use as we observe the Lord’s Supper, a recipe is available for you to print. If you will be unable to provide your own communion supplies Brent & Brenda Noe [Brent: 405-423-6675; Brenda: 417-880-7495] have agreed to be the points of contact for arranging delivery of these items to you. if you need supplies delivered give as much advance notice as possible to have them delivered before Sunday.
Be safe and continue to pray for each other, pray for your Elders as they navigate uncharted waters, and pray for the world as this pandemic affects people in every direction. Our decisions will consider all the information and resources we have available to us. We love you. We can’t wait until this is over and we’re all back together. Until then, we will keep you posted.
If you need ANYTHING, please call the office at 907-357-3011 and let us help you.
Christ’s love,
Your Elders
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. - 1 Thess 5:16-18
