This October we were blessed to gather as women to study, sing, fellowship, and enjoy a time of retreat from this busy world we live in.

    Our guest speaker was Chantelle Swayne.  She is a minister's wife and work-at-home mum.  While being Australian-born and bred, Chantelle now lives in Anchorage, Alaska. Her lessons on hospitality were very encouraging, challenging, motivating, and scriptural. We also had a great time getting to know each other better.

    Drawing from her own life experiences and the scriptures, Chantelle shared very practical lessons to view hospitality from a biblical standpoint vs a worldly one.

We started Friday night with an Intro To Hospitality and why is a study of hospitality important. Saturday we were challenged with lessons on Developing Love for Strangers and Making the church your Family.  Sunday we wrapped up with a fantastic lesson on The Perfect Host.  If you missed the lessons or need a refresher course, the links to the lessons are below.  So much hard work and so many hands went into making this retreat a success.  A huge thank you to all of the loving, serving hearts that made such a weekend possible.
