In Acts 2:44-47, we read of the things the early church did in their daily lives: gave as any had need, meeting at the temple, eating at each others houses, praising God and having a positive influence on the community. These actions were taking place daily, and the result, "the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved."
There is a direct correlation between the time spent with one another and the growth of the church. We see verses like Galatians 6:2 which says, "Bear one anothers burdens and thereby fulfill the law of Christ", and assume that the role we play...
Ladies’ Retreat 2006 - Consider it all Joy
| Aspen Kuenning | Women's Ministry
We had a wonderful ladies retreat this year. As in years past, we hosted our annual ladies retreat at the beautiful Meier Lake Conference Center just outside of Wasilla. Our theme this year was Joy, in all of its wonderful aspects. We had six different ladies each provide their unique perspective on Joy. Our weekend was full of challenging lessons and spiritual growth. Thanks to everyone who helped make our weekend a success. Especially to the men who so graciously turned out to cook for us!

Another year and another successful ladies’ retreat. We were blessed to be able to spend the weekend at the beautiful Meier Lake Conference Center once again. We were also blessed to have Kim Binkley return as our guest speaker this year. Each year we we walk away from these retreats having grown and so encouraged. We would like to add a huge thank you to everyone who works so hard to make this possible.

Ladies’ Retreat 2007 – I’m Glad He’s God and I Am Not
| Aspen Kuenning | Women's Ministry
For the first time ever this year we brought up a guest speaker for our annual ladies retreat. Kim Binkley from Texas was our guest speaker. She delivered some wonderful, challenging lessons that inspired a lot of growth. We are so thankful to her for her faith driven lessons. We also had a great time getting to know her and some great fellowship. Once again the men did an amazing job with our menu and we all left the weekend feeling pampered.
